Has facebook actually changed something for the better? Just yesterday, facebook finally decided to enforce their new privacy rules that give users more control over their information.
If you haven’t been already, you will be prompted when you log in about these new changes, and then taken to a page that helps “transition” your old settings to the new. The “transition” page makes it real easy for you, because all they ask is “do you want your old settings, or our new and improved ones”. Once you go through that, certain things such as status updates have options on how public they are – friends, friends of friends, or everyone.
Some of the other differences include:
- No more regional networks
- Facebook apps can now only access information you make available to everyone
Well, what do you think? A change for the better or worse?
